Purple Trainwreck

Perfect symbiosis

Elements that complement each other

The origins of Purple Trainwreck are peculiar and valuable: Mendo Purps and Trainwreck. Indoors it requires both enough space to develop fully and a diet rich in nutrients, however, the growing period should be reduced to avoid overstretching. Resistant to moisture and pests, this marijuana plant is also suitable for outdoor cultivation in temperate, warm, dry and Mediterranean climates and will develop beautiful violet/purple hues depending on the night and day temperature difference.

Potency and flavour

For thrill seekers

Purple Trainwreck is a cannabis hybrid that smells of citrus and slightly hot spices. The flavour offers intense hints of lemon, pine and lavender. Devastating, cerebral, invigorating and psychedelic at first, the effect of this cannabis seed develops into a powerful long-lasting feeling of relaxation on a second stage.

I've been growing purple trainwreck for over 6 years medically thru the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program. I love this breed. It's one of my all time favorite.

This Purple Trainwreck has been an absolute blast to grow, the pheno I grew had tight nodal spacing and side branches for days. I would absolutely recommend this strain to anyone.

I bought a gram of Purple Trainwreck a year ago, just before my medical card expired. I found 1 seed and saved it for later. Now it has germinated. My state has finally licensed recreational sales after the voters OK'd it in 2018. Purple Trainwreck does a good job on my arthritis and related issues, so I hope growing that seed works out! Wish me luck!

Well, I had the chance to smoke this beautiful strain on my last summer vacation. It had both a sugary and a pungent taste with scents of lavander. Effects were very uplifting and high. We couldn't stop loughing in public and kept craving for the next joint. We had the time of our lives and smoked around 5 grams a day with my partner. She was kind enough to carry our pre-ground and tight packed stash on the plane if you know what I mean ;) Let me be more spesific about my ride on the Purple Trainwreck. I got some beans from a friend in USA and decided to grow this one in coco. It is a little bit unusual but I used a 10 gal. fabric pot for this plant. I had no idea that this one was literally a heavy drinker! That grow was very challenging because it is already hard to feed a giant hydro plant in 10 gal. container and this one was a nightmare... I used a 3x3 tent and my DIY LED system that used mid-power Samsung diodes and drew around 450 actual Watts. I gave this plant a lot of fresh air and plenty of feedings. I topped this plant 2 times and got 4 main nodes. Sidebranching is powerful but I only kept the best parts in veg. This plant is a grower because the veg. took around 6 weeks and this may sound like a lot to most growers but its far below my average veg. time. I didn't have an idea on how much this strain stretches during flowering but I played safe. This plant was already tall and thick in the transition week but I spread the tips on upper canopy to stack nodes together. This technique provides a healthy stretch resulting in big colas. The problem with big colas is that they don't always feel very dense but this strain has no problem producing dense buds in huge sizes. It is definately a yielder. I had over 400 grams of dried and trimmed nugs after 16 weeks from the seed. Definately recommended. Buds look beautiful and eventhough it is a hard to feed strain, it is very rewarding. That is all you can ask for. I am very excited about The New. Definately get some beans for this fall. I wish you all good physical and mental health during these days. Very nice strain, grew two of these in Argentina during last season, outdoors. Got one pheno that developed purple colors even without getting any cold weather, it was a pretty intense summer. The other one grew the biggest colas I've seen, very dense and compact buds. Resisted several pests with ease. Growing this one again. Salud

Outdoor grow in northern california, this strain is truly beautiful. Out of the 65 plants growing on this sun-grown, we had around 10 of Purple Trainwreck, and we noticed two main phenotypes; one more purple/reddish that make fat cola with a woody/spicy tone to the nose, while the other one grow thinner buds but longer and dense with a more fruity/berry/grappey nose. Overall a really nice strain with almost not issues, watch out for mold if you have a wet october because the buds a fat and resinous. Thank you H.S.O !

First off I am a California prop 215 personal grower. I recently received a single Purple Trainwreck feminized seed by HSO, after making a TGA purchase from a seed bank. Now the reason I buy unfeminizied seeds is due to the bad rep Subcool, and other various breeders tend to give them. Boy was I wrong, the good people at HSO do feminized right, this PTW is by far the most vigorous and healthy lush green of all my plants. The sad thing is I am an avid fan of BG420, and he does not stop stating how amazing HSO seeds are, but I figured hey it must be a hype, it isn't they are the real deal. Now I just have experience with this one strain, and seed/Pheno, but I will definitely be trying out several more strains from this company, especially because feminized seeds make things so much easier in small close quarters. Thank you guys for the good work, I can't wait to try your new stuff, and I'll definitely continue posting my progress on IG.
